Give Me An Hour—And I'll Have You Playing Jazz Like A Monster
“Play A Jazz Solo You Can Be Proud Of”
Do you ever find yourself feeling kind of lost when it comes time to improvise? The rest of the band is cranking along...the spotlight hits you...it's your turn to stand up and make some magic happen, and your mind just kind of goes blank...
A minute later your solo's over and you wonder, “what on earth just happened?”
Don't be embarrassed, we've all been there. I've probably felt that way many more times than you in the past. When I was in band in elementary and middle school I earned dead last chair every stinking time we took a test. Every time we played I was wondering “what on earth was happening.” One day that all changed and I literally jumped from last chair to first chair in a single test...It's a pretty epic story. Maybe I'll tell you about it when I meet you.
All you really need to know right now is, since that day I have had the opportunity to play on some of the most prestigious stages on the planet. I have played at the world-famous North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland, the Montreaux Jazz Festival in Montreaux, Switzerland, and I've even played at the base of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Look these festivals up and see if any of your heroes have played there...I promise you they probably have.
The only reason I tell you all this is because you might be interested to know that I went to school right here in Harrisonville. No kidding...if you look around the band room enough you'll probably find my name somewhere...my name is Michael Firkins.
I love music, especially jazz, and I have decided to give some of the young guys and gals in my hometown an unfair advantage over some of the other schools in the area. I'm going to open up weekly group jazz lessons for the young musicians around that are interested in playing jazz at a level they have only dreamed of...
and ALL INSTRUMENTS ARE INVITED...
In our jazz sessions we will learn:
How to play time-tested musical phrases that the pros use to GUARANTEE they sound amazing every time they play...
ONE SECRET that will GUARANTEE that you are going to finish your solos strong
How to instantly take the guesswork out of playing the blues
The ONE KEY to instantly making any solo sound amazing...
And of course a whole lot more...
You can probably already tell that this is going to change the way you play forever...
I'm only going to be able to do this once during the week so if you can't make it I'm really sorry. I do offer private lessons for just a few students a year if you can't make the group, but don't want to miss out on everything. My private lesson rates are $15 for a half hour lesson.
That's the price that I thought about charging for the jazz lessons group too, but I tell you what. I really want to see some awesome things happen for the Harrisonville music program and I know that not everyone can easily afford private lessons. That's why I have decided to offer these weekly group jazz sessions for only $10 per person for a FULL HOUR lesson. That's only 1/3 the cost of the same amount of private lessons.
If you are interested in learning how to play like a jazz monster in a short amount of time and for a very small investment (I know you are) give me a call (816) 738-1641 or email me: firstname.lastname@example.org. This is an amazing opportunity to learn how to put all of those anxieties about standing up and playing your heart out to rest. Hurry and get a hold of me soon because I don't want anyone who wants to join the class to miss out. Get ready to play like you've always dreamed...
There is no obligation in this offer by the way. If you decide after the first lesson that you hate my guts or you think that you can do better on your own, I'll even give back every penny you have invested. How's that for a 100% guarantee?
Give this a shot. You've got absolutely nothing to lose and I personally guarantee that you will be VERY pleased with what you have to gain.
Blessings to you,
Music Geniuses Inc.
